Tim Bogart, Evan Bogart & Gary Randall Launch Indie Music/Film/TV Company
Author-producer-director Timothy Scott Bogart, songwriter and music writer Evan Kidd Bogart and TV producer Gary A. Randall have released Boardwalk Entertainment Group, a media company composed of 5 divisions: Boardwalk Films, Boardwalk Television, Boardwalk Records, Boardwalk Posting and Boardwalk Technology. The organization, that is backed by private funding, is made to be considered a music-driven operation that enables artists. Boardwalk already has movies within the works, including biopic Spinning Gold, along with a TV series in production, Majors & Minors, which premieres about the Hub network Sept. 23. Compiled by Tim Bogart, Spinning Gold is dependant on the existence of Tim and Evan’s late father, Neil Bogart, who founded indie label Casablanca Records in 1974 and it is credited with finding and starting the careers of Hug, Donna Summer time and also the Village People, amongst others. Boardwalk’s offices are located within the same building as Casablanca. Boardwalk Entertainment Group is produced greatly within the spirit from the original U . s . Artists,” Randall stated. Added Tim Bogart, Whenever you enter the Boardwalk offices, that are within the same space because the original Casablanca Records, you realize youre inside a community where artists are empowered to produce — it is the antithesis of the corporate entertainment company.” Boardwalk’s music division features a record label, a posting company along with a production house that supplies music for the organization’s film and tv projects. The organization has forged alliances with music giant Sonys RCA/Jive Label Group, Bug Music and Body mass index. Boardwalks technology division is developing items for production and postproduction in film, television, music and digital platforms. The first, Instant ADR, a mobile Automated Dialogue Alternative device, is being used on television series for NBC, USA Network, A&E and Syfy.
