On Tuesday, as he and Coldplays Jonny Buckland taped an appearance for Thursdays episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Chris had a little fun about his relationship with the actress. You have a great relationship and two precious kids. And we love Gwyneth, Ellen said, trying to coax something out of the British rocker. Shes been here many times. Shes been a great beard for me now, for 10 years, Chris said, tongue-in-cheek. She just pretends that shes your wife? Ellen probed. Yeah, its hard to believe, Chris laughed. Chris recently revealed that his marriage to Gwyneth is his only serious relationship and he admitted his lack of big love before the actress led him to join a band.
